How do you believe your design relates to the corporate Identity of your company?
My design relates to the corporate identity of my company because it is simple yet elegant and also incorporates colors that the company would use
How does your bag portray the “holiday”?
My bag portrays the "holiday" theme because it has a seasonal print featured on it. My bag is also specially made for the holidays because it converts into a gift box.
Do you think that the company you designed for would really use your bag? Why or why not?
I do think that Pandora would use this bag design because it goes with the simplicity theme their bags usually have. Also, the bag I designed is unique enough for them to want to produce it.
What makes your bag Unique and Different?
My bag is unique and different because it converts into a gift box. This would draw consumers eyes, especially men, because they wouldn't have to go through the difficult process of gift wrapping. My bag also contains real ribbons that adds to the elegance of the bag.
Describe the process in which you took to create the bag? (From beginning to end)
I first created a template that contained cut and score lines. These lines would later on tell the cutting machine where to cut and where to create cuts that would allow me to fold the bag. Then I created my design in illustrator that demonstrated my idea of how the bag should print. After, I created mock ups to measure and determine where I would add my extra cut and fold lines. My extra cut and fold lines were created to allow the bag to be a convertible bag. After determining my measurements, I imputed it onto the computer and then printed. After printing, a light spray of adhesive was attached to a large piece of card stock before running it through the cutting machine. Then I assembled my bag, added the ribbon, and took pictures of the step by step process in which the customer would have to follow in order to convert the bag.
