1. How does the design that you created demonstrate your knowledge of playing card design?

My design that I created demonstrates my knowledge of playing card designs because I placed my letters and symbols in the top left hand corner. In addition, my placement of my symbols are similar to the placement used on original playing cards.

2. How would the rest of the deck look? What would you do for the other picture cards? Please describe in detail?

The rest of the cards in the deck would also be a simplistic black and white design. For other picture cards I would use Mount Rushmore as the Jack, Lady Liberty as the Queen and Christ the Redeemer as the Ace. All cards would be similar to the synphx on my king card. They would have a symmetrical design.

3. How does your design demonstrate your knowledge of adobe illustrator?

My design demonstrates my knowledge of adobe illustrator because I used the image trace tool, the pen tool, the curvature tool, and the shape tool. All tools helped me execute my card in the best way possible.

4. What do you feel was the most challenging part of this project and why?

The most challenging part of this project was deciding what to make the king, queen, jack, and ace because geography is a very broad subject. It was difficult making the card look more geographic rather than travel-like.

5. If you can change one requirements what would it be and why?

I would change some of the topics to more narrowed down ones and also make sure the topics can be vector based. I would do it this way because some subjects seemed to fit into vector graphics whereas others did not.
